This Privacy Policy explains what information OVOVTEC collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and some technical information to operate the service.

Account and authentication data: When you sign up, we collect your email and password for authentication. We also store profile information you provide, including display name, full name, phone, birth date, and location. Your profile may also include an avatar and bio if you add them later.
Role and chapter assignment: Your profile may include a role and an admin-assigned town used to enforce posting rules for experts.
Posts and revisions: If you create posts, we store the post content and ratings, alongside any revisions made to these posts.
Comments: If you comment, we store your comment content and link it to your account.

Public content: Posts, their revision history, and associated media are publicly visible. Comments and their vote totals are publicly visible.
Profile basics: Your display name and avatar may be shown next to your public content. Other profile details are not displayed publicly.

Provide and secure the platform.
Publish and display content you create, including revisions and media.
Moderate abuse, enforce expert posting restrictions, and protect platform integrity.

We do not distribute or sell your data to third parties.

Account data persists while your account is active. You may request profile updates or deletion.
Public content (posts, comments, revisions, media) is part of the public record of the site. If you delete a post you own, we attempt to remove associated media from storage and delete related database records.
Operational logs and backups are retained for security and reliability, then deleted on a rolling basis.

OVOVTEC is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13.
